AWA SUNDAY NIGHT SHOCK, July 31, 2005, Milan, Italy, Fila Forum

(The Parental Discretion discalimer appears on the screen and remains there for a good nine or ten seconds before it is replaced with the AWA Copyright logo. The AWA Logo then slowly fades to the capacity crowd, all on their feet and screaming, nearly drowning out the music playing over the speakers. We move around the arena with many different camera angles, and see many different signs, such as "I wanna swin with the Fish" and "I Forgive you John". The usual fireworks and pyros begin to go off as we end up at the announce booth with Herb Summer and Frank Jackson. THe two men begin to speak each having to speak louder to be heard over the still screaming crowd.)

HS: Folks good evening and Welcome to Sunday Night Shock, and as the fans here in Milan Italy are telling you we have a hell of a line up tonight.

FJ: Yeah we do, it would be a a great night if we did not have to see the new and not so improved John Williams twice tonight.

HS: You behave yourself. Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we will see John Williams in the Dragons Lair, and I am sure Black Dragon will have alot to speak to him about, what with his match at Classic with Quade DeSade looming not far off in the distance.

FJ: Yes, and I am sure he will ask why the hell he became such a sap.

HS: Also tonight we are goign to watch The Hangman go one on one with one half of Damage Inc. as he takes on Brian Stevens.

FJ: Now that will be a match up, someone could get seriously hurt, which is always a plus.

HS: In from there folks we will see the other half of Damage Inc. Nathanial Henry Lee when he takes on the returning Andy Peek. That match will be one to watch. It will be interesting to see what kind of form Damage inc is on as they move steadily closer to their big tag team title match at Classic.

FJ: Oh they will be ready Summers, and they will prove it tonight, you know both men are facing opponents that have been one half of the AWA Tag team champions.

HS: Wow, I am surprised you knew that, I have to admit I am somewhat impressed. Then folks we will get to see the main event, where John Williams could become a double champion and leave Italy with his third reign as US Champion.

FJ: But he would have to take the POLISH title from Andreas Lassiewicz, and I dont see him doing that, Williams is not going to be the one ending Lassie's winning streak here on Shock.

HS: I would not be to sure about that, Williams has been showing the form of his better days as of late, and with the AWA Fans back in his corner, I think he has a legitamate shot at leaving here with double gold. Folks dont miss a minute of the action, we will be right back with the opening match right after this short break.

(The scene fades and we watch a series of commercials, and then a TV APPEARANCE for the very anticipated World Title match at quickly approaching AWA Classic. Then we return to the Fila Forum, and we find ourselves backstage watching Onslaught and Jessica Kassle making there way through the narrow hallway. They are cut of by a stage hand who seems to be in a rush to speak to them.)

STAGE HAND: Hurry, soemthing terrible has happened to Mr Stevens, he needs your help.

(Onslaught wastes no time as he quickly escorts Jessica into the dressing room and heads off with the stage hand. We follow Kassle into the dressing room and moments after she is inside, she turns around and comes face to face with The Hangman! Putting a hand over her mouth, a sneer spreads across his lips before he eaches up and yanks a strand of her hair off her head! Laughing at her, he then replies in a barely audible whisper 'Anytime.....anytime....anytime.' Throwing her down, he wraps the strand of her around his left index finger like a forget-me-not before leaving the dressing room. For a few moments we remained focused on Kassle who is scared half to death, then we fade slowly back to the floor.)

HS: That sick bastard, every week I think I have seen him at his worst, but then he sinks even lower, what the hell is his problem picking on a defenseless woman, takes abig man to do that.

FJ: I think it is obvious that Hangman just had something he needed to remember, and Jessica Kassle's hair was the closest thing to a string he could find.

HS: Well, I just hope he gets whats coming to him here, as I am sure Stevens will now what has just happened.

[A picture of a longhorn skull appears on the AWATron with a rope hanging off of each horn, ending in a hangman's noose. Red pyros go off as The Hangman parts the curtains and methodiaclly makes his way down the ramp, stopping every so often to sneer ominously into the masses. Once inside the ring, The Hangman takes off his hat and places the chain with the bible over one of the steel turnbuckle posts. After taking a moment, to regard his opponent, The Hangman then removes his black vest, clenching and releasing his hands anxiously. At PPV events, The Hangman will come out on horseback wearing a Jesse James Gang style trench coat.]

[The lights dim in the arena and the spotlights focus on the entrance ramp as ‘Roofies’ by Index Case hits over the P.A. system. The fans immediately react to the opening riff as the greet the superstar with a chorus of heckling and profanity. Brian Stevens emerges atop the entrance ramp, Singapore Cane in hand, after the intro of the song plays itself out. Stevens simply stands on top of the ramp, looking down on the people who are screaming obscenities towards him. Stevens raises one arm in the air, proudly displaying the Singapore Cane to the AWA fans. With his arm raised, from the backstage entrance his manager and long time girlfriend Jessica Kassle emerges and wraps her arms around the waist of her talent. Seconds later, the best friend of ‘The Sensation’ emerges from the back with a smirk on his face…that man is the seven foot monster, Onslaught. They proceed to the ring, to the dismay of the fans. The very much in love couple of Brian Stevens and Jessica Kassle do not acknowledge the hatred emitting from the audience while Onslaught makes smart ass comments to the jawing fans. Stevens slides into the ring as Kassle takes the steps onto the ring apron. Stevens holds the ropes open for her, and she enters between the top and middle rope. Stevens hands the Singapore Cane off to Jessica and proceeds to the ropes. Onslaught grabs the top rope and pulls himself up to the ring apron and proceeds to step over the top tope. With Onslaught center ring, Stevens hits all sides of the ring, standing on the middle rope and balancing himself on the top rope with his legs. Stevens raises his arms and jaws with the fans a bit. Jessica is at the opposite side of the ring while this is happening, glancing into the crowd and resting her arms on the top rope, occasionally yelling at fans of the AWA. Onslaught simply moves from center ring and rests in one of the corners of the ring nonchalantly. Stevens and Kassle eventually retreat to the corner of the ring Onslaught is in and await their competition while talking strategy.]

[Brian Stevens and The Hangman both start the match eyeing each other up as no one is even attempting to make the first move. They seemingly just want to stare a hole through the other. Stevens is the first to step up and Hangman responds in kind. Stevens pie faces The Hangman as soon as he steps and The Hangman immediately slaps Stevens in the face. Stevens slaps right back to the face of Hangman. The two get right into the face of each other and start jawing back and forth with each other. The Hangman tells Stevens to bring it, and Stevens does by hitting a stiff chop to Hangman’s chest. The Hangman fires back and the two men go back and forth chopping each other about 30 times each. Both men’s chests are bright red and Stevens’ chest is actually bleeding a tiny bit…but neither man is fazed! Stevens kicks the legs of Hangman and the sound is heard through out the arena. Hangman flinches but fires back with a kick to the gut of Stevens and snapmares him over. Hangman proceeds to kick the back of Stevens with a hard shot. Stevens, though, gets right back up and kicks Hangman in the gut. Stevens snapmares Hangman over this time and kicks him right on the square of the back. Hangman doesn’t stay down and slaps the face of Stevens, insulting the young rookie upstart. Hangman snapmares Stevens and starts kicking Stevens repeatedly on the back. Stevens looks to be in pain, but he refuses to be out strong-styled. Stevens slaps Hangman in the face with some rapid shots and then snapmares Hangman over again, and just like Hangman, Stevens rapidly kicks the back of Hangman. The Hangman gets right up and he and Stevens have another stare off.]

[Stevens goes back to the chops after another stand off and Hangman responds in kind. Stevens, instead of exchanging chops, goes to the eyes of Hangman and gets an advantage finally. Stevens throws Hangman to the ropes and takes the big man off his feet with a rolling full body leg sweep. Hangman tries getting right up to his feet and Stevens Snapmares him over. Stevens hits his Triple Strike Combo shortly afterwards but doesn’t go for a cover. Stevens rather drags Hangman over to the corner and boot scraps the former AWA World Heavyweight Champion hard numerous times before hitting the ropes and coming back, kneeing Hangman hard in the face. Stevens brings the Hangman up and whips him into the opposite corner. Stevens follows in quickly and hit’s a stiff running forearm in the corner. Stevens tosses Hangman out of the corner and waits for the giant to get back to his feet. Stevens goes for a Mafia kick, but Hangman ducks. Hangman tries to catch Stevens with the big boot on the rebound, but he misses as well. Stevens is finally able to catch The Hangman with the Complete Shot, which he quickly turns into a Koji Clutch. BUT! In an amazing feat of strength, The Hangman deadlifts Stevens from the mat and hit’s a modified Powerbomb.]

[Hangman waits for Stevens to get up and when he does, he hit’s a stiff Clothesline From Hell! Hangman brings Stevens up and quickly hit’s a Dominator. Hangman makes a throat slit motion, signaling for the end of the match. Hangman hoists Stevens up and hit’s the Southern Comfort Slam. Hangman goes for the cover, but Stevens kicks out amazingly. Hangman looks incredibly pissed and backs away from Stevens. When Stevens gets to his feet, The Hangman hits him with a HUGE running Big Boot. Stevens is out! Hangman goes for another cover and this time he scores the three count in an incredibly stiff match.]

(With Stevens still down from the impact Hangman rises to his feet and for no apparent reason The Hangman runs off the referee. Waiting for Brian Stevens to rise up off the mat, he then greets the AWA Superstar with a running boot to the face. Sliding outside the ring, The Hangman retrieves a bottle of Jack Daniels and...a book of matches. Back into the ring goes the behemoth, laying the boots to Brian Stevens until he is unable to move once more. Going over to the top turnbuckle, he sits on it and looks at his right boot. Pouring Jack Daniels onto it, he then grabs the matchbook and sets it on fire before lowering it to his boot. The crowd watches on in horror as The Hangman now climbs to the top rope, the flames beginning to rise up towards his leg. Then, in a flash, he leaps off and delivers a trash compactor to Brian Stevens as the crowd watches on stunned. Immediately, EMT's rush to the ring as The Hangman slides out, extinguishing the flame, and looking on with a blank stare. Hangman then begins to leave the ringside area.)

HS: This man needs to be locked up, it is sick what he just keeps doing, to people that do not even deserve it.

FJ: I told you someone might get hurt Summers.

HS: I thank god that the EMT's were on the scene so quickly, I hope they were able to prevent any serious damage, we will try to get an update for you as soon as possible, stay tuned!

(The scene fades and we watch a few more commercials including another AWA Classic TV APPEARANCE, this time hyping the entire show. The TV APPEARANCE ends and we find ourselves back at the announce table, where Herb Summers has a serious look on his face.)

HS: Folks, the Hangman has been at it again, if you are just joining us take a look at what happened just before the break, but I warn you, what you are about to see is not for all eyes.

(As Herb finishes speaking we cut to a shot of the finish of the Stevens, Hangman match, and watch the vicious attack unfold again. We hear the screams of the crowd as Hangman connects with the flamming boot, and then focus in on the devilish stare on Hangmans face before cutting away and back live to the announce table.)

HS: But folks on the bright side, the medical staff here were on the spot and made a difference, and we have been informed that Brian Stevens has not sustained any kind of serious injuries from this attack. But I am sure he is going to have something to say about it, and the Hangman had better watch himself.

FJ: Oh well, I am sure the Hangman can take care of himself.

(We cut away from the announce booth and focus on the ring that has been set up for the Dragon's Lair. Black Dragon stands in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand. The crowd erupts in approval, and Dragon waits for a moment from them to calm down. Finally lifting the microphone to his lips, he begins to speak.)

Black Dragon: Welcome again to another edition of the Dragon's Lair on AWA Shock.

(The crowd cheers again)

Black Dragon: Tonight, I'm going to be speaking with a man that has a lot to answer for. At one time one of the most popular, athletes in the American Wrestling Alliance, he chose earlier last year to turn his back on the fans that helped rise him to that level. His battles with his own flesh and blood brother are legendary, and he's a former world champion, as well as one of the longest reigning United States Champions in AWA history.

Recently however this man has taken another change of heart. Turning his back from the darkness, he's embarked on a quest similar to my own, in an effort to do things honorably. So without further adieu, and with mixed emotions I present to you, John Williams!

(Open Your Eyes by Alter Bridge blasts over the PA system and The Icon John Williams begins heading down towards the ring. The fans cheer wildly for the big man as he walks down. He takes his time as he stops frequently to slap five with fans, maybe even let them snap a picture or two. Finally reaching the ring, Williams walks up the steps, and goes through the middle ropes. Raising his hands to the air once again the crowd continues to cheer. After a moment he steps forward to meet Dragon in the center of the ring. Williams immediately extends his hands as if to shake, Dragon looks down at the hand, stares hard for a moment, and then looks up into Williams eyes. The two men stand for a moment and Dragon raises the microphone to his lips, as Williams looks somewhat uncomfortable, and lowers his own hand. )

Black Dragon: Mr. Williams welcome to the Dragon's Lair.

John Williams: It's a honor to be here, and please call me John.

Black Dragon: Alright. I will. Now, John, while you've recently been trying to atone for your actions I believe it's important that we get to the heart of the matter first. What caused you to turn your back on the light in the first place? Why did you choose a path of darkness?

John Williams: Well, I have to admit I was a bit confused with all that was happening in my life at that time. Anyone around the AWA witnessed this, and to be honest I was just a little out of it around Hell on Earth. I think I just completely misread the whole situation.

Black Dragon: And what exactly was the situation as you saw it?

John Williams: It's hard to explain actually, like I said I was pretty messed up through that whole time. I guess I just saw the fans as turning their backs on me. Maybe it was a little jealousy over something else, maybe it was just me getting frustrated. I can't say for sure, but I know now that I made a mistake and I was the one who turned my back, not the other way around.

Black Dragon: And what brought you to this conclusion? How did you turn around?

John Williams: To put it simply, I saw the light. I got my life back together, and everything just started to fall back into place for me. I'd say the final piece of the puzzle though, were the fans starting to cheer for me again. I won't go so far as to say that I can't win without the fans on my side, but really the whole wrestling thing seems a lot less important without the fans cheering me on. The fans, the people, that's the reason I wrestle, I pretty much just forgot that through this entire thing.

Black Dragon: So now you've decided that you've got to make up for your actions during that dark period correct?

John Williams: Essentially yes. I feel like I lost a lot of something during that whole period. Something intangible, I really don't even know how to describe it.

Black Dragon: Honor perhaps?

John Williams: I think that would be an accurate word yes.

Black Dragon: So the question now is, how do you plan on regaining this lost honor?

John Williams: Well, I trust the judgment of the people I'm surrounding myself with, and I know what I need to do. Also, I know that I've got the heart and determination to put it into practice. Now, I'm really not expecting everyone to instantly turn their thoughts around on me, I did some evil things and that'll be difficult to make up for, and I realize an instant change just can't and won't happen. The only thing I ask is that people try and look at the situation with an open mind. If people choose not to forgive me, well there's nothing I can do about that, and it's their choice, but no matter what the world's choices might be, I'll continue to fight every battle with honor and integrity, whether in or out of the ring.

Black Dragon: A noble goal, however you must realize how fragile a thing like honor can be.

John Williams: Well, yes

Black Dragon: I don't believe you do actually, honor is life, honor is air, honor is everything. Once it's been lost it's nearly impossible to regain. We've all done things in our lives that we're not proud of, atoning for them has to be your life's work. You must devote yourself fully to piecing together the shattered shards of honor. It's tedious, difficult, and you will be constantly tempted on all sides to just put it aside for a moment, and have some fun. Are you willing to go to those lengths are you willing to do devote yourself totally to this quest?

John Williams: Yes, I'm willing to go as far as it takes. I'll do whatever needs to be done, provided of course it doesn't involve any sort of dishonorable action. Now of course I know it won't be easy, if it was everyone would do it, but I also feel like I'm someone with a pure heart, and for someone with a pure heart, this course of honor can't be too far out of reach.

Black Dragon: Bold words, I hope you have what it takes to make them a reality. Thank you for you time John, it's been enlightening.

John Williams: It's been my pleasure, I'm just glad I was given the time to be heard and explain myself.

(Williams extends his hand once again towards Dragon. Again Dragon looks down at it, stares very hard, before finally extending his own hand. As to the two men shake in the center of the ring, the crowd erupts in cheers, while Open Your Eyes by Alter Bridge begins again.)

(Suddenly, we are cut off. "Pulse of the Maggots" by Slipknot begins playing and the sirens echo through-out the arena, both Black Dragon and John Williams look to the entrance and notice the gust of smoke building up around it.)

"This is the year where hope fails you,

The test subjects run the experiments,

And the bastards you know, is the hero you hate,

But cohesing is posssible if we strive"

(The strong husky voice runs through the arena PA system like a Drill Sargent shouting orders as WMW graduate and AWA rookie, Sebastian Slater steps out from beyond the back of the entrance and onto the entrance ramp. He has a mic in his right hand and looks very unimpressed as he glares at John Williams. Slater slices his throat with his finger to motion for the music to stop, and it does. He just stands there with the mic by his side, John Williams walks over to the ropes and tries to speak but his mic is not working, he hits it against the ropes and tries to talk, but it still does not work, Black Dragon does the same when he notices that his mic isn't working either. Slowly Sebastian puts the mic to his lips as he motions the fans to quiet down.)

Sebastian: "... Lets all shed a few tears for John Williams and thank God, Jesus and the rest of the Christ Family for his return back to.. good?"

(Sebastian gets a cheeky smirk on his face as he mockingly claps. Both Williams and Dragon are confused as to what Sebastian wants.)

Sebastian: "I am sick and I am tired, my ears got cramps from listening to you blab on about how you lost your honor and blah-blah-blah, whinge-whinge fuckin' whinge. Listen to me Williams, Integrity? Honor?.. at this very moment, My left testicle has about as much Integrity than you, The pubic hair on my scrotum has more Honor than you... do not stand there and pretend you've been to the 24 hour Asian Cleansing studio around the corner and all of a sudden you've found inner peace or whatever the hell it is your trying to preach.. Black Dragon and the rest of the guys might be beleiving you and getting ready to go down on their knees for you, but I dont beleive one bit of oxygen that is comeing out of your mouth! I cant understand you with all that verbal diarrhea"

(Williams tries to intergect, but his mic still does not work. Sebastian laughs as continues.)

Sebastian: "My mate works in the Production team Johnny, your mic wont work for the rest of this TV APPEARANCE..."

(Sebastian laughs again. He walks around the entrance ramp for a few seconds and looks at all the fans from one point of the arena, to another. He stops and looks back to the ring.)

Sebastian: "You know.. it was only a week ago when you told me to remember your face.. guess what?.. I do"

(Sebastian gives John an evil glare and starts breathing a little heavier.)

Sebastian: "You said at The Farm if I wanted to get anywhere in this business, the AWA, one must go through you. Ha, well guess what? I'm standing right here, looking you square in the eye. I'm not going to go over you, nor under you. I'm not going around you, I'm standing here and I am vowing to take your No Limits championship! and.. To, Go, Straight... Through. You!"

(He points straight at Williams as his music plays, Sebastian drops the mic, shares a quick smile, spins around and then walks off into the back. The scene fades and we find ourselves ready for another commercial break. We watch commercials for a number of things including the next editions of Xplosion and Shock, as well as a subway commercial. Then we see the parental warning notice come up and after it fades we fade back to the arena were we again find ourselves staring at Herb and Frank.)

HS: Folks, it has been an action packed night, we have seen a couple of brutal and uncalled for attack courtesy of The Hangman, and we hav just witnessed the AWA debut of Sebastian Slater who told John Williams at the end of the Dragons Lair that he would indeed, and this is a direct quote ladies and gentlemen, Slater stated that he would "Go Straight Through" Williams and take his No Limit Title. I for one am waiting to see what Williams has to say, this will surely put a test to this new respect for the world that Williams has.

FJ: I hope this makes him fly off the handle, I hope he snaps and goes back to the way he was, that is when he is at his best.

HS: I dont see that happening, I think he has himself together, and he is ready to do as he says, and I think he will respond to Mr Slater with the utmost respect and honor.

FJ: You are a wuss to Summers, can't they find me anyone better than you?

HS: Funny, sometimes I find myself saying the same thing.

( As Herb finishes speaking X-Ecutioner Style" by Linkin Park begins to blare over the speaker system as dark purple, silver and black strobe lights begin dancing around the arena and over the heads of the crowd in attendance at the same time the lights go slightly dim. The AWAtron shows Andy Peek's video as the crowd cheer in excitement.)

HS: “The action never stops here in the AWA, and I have to admit I am quite looking forward to this match.”

FJ: “ Never knew you liked watching the senseless and quick annihilation of fan faves.”

HS: “ I very much doubt that is gonna happen. Rumours are backstage that NHL and both Peek brothers have had several arguments since NHL entered the AWA. Whether these are serious, or just playful banter is anybodys’s guess.”

(After about 1/4 of the song, purple and silver pyro explode upward from the top of the steel ramp and out walks Andy Peek through the curtains. He stands at the top of the ramp before looking into the crowd and raising his right hand to their approval. Slowly, but surely, he makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with some of his fans. Once he reaches the ring, he climbs the steel steps and enters the ring under the top rope, over the middle rope. He then runs to one of the turnbuckles, climbs to the middle and raises his hands aloft as thousands of flashbulbs go off around the arena. After a few seconds, Andy then walks to the opposite turnbuckle and does the same thing as, slowly, the lights around the arena come back on to its fullest and "X-Ecutioner Style" dies off.)

FJ:” This man is gonna get pwn3d…”

HS: “What?”

FJ: “Pwn3d!”

HS:” What the hell does that mean?”

FJ:” …..I dunno…..”

(The house lights dim as white lights strobe as the beginning of "Am I Evil?" by Diamond Head blares throughout the arena. After a few second, red begins to strobe as NHL walks out from the back curtain. As he comes out through the curtain, he spits out water from his mouth and he stands under the red strobe, leaving a hideously evil look about his face. A few seconds later, he starts towards the ring, with Sarah Hawthorne slowly following behind her now deranged husband, Henry. As NHL slowly makes his way to the ring, he ignores the jeers and boos from the crowd as he walks gets near to the ring. He ascends the ring steps and heads into the ring through the top and middle ropes. Sarah steps in through the bottom and middle ropes as she looks on as her husband stands on the bottom rope, pointing to the crowd and cursing the people at ringside.)

FJ: “Let’s get ready for some Mega-Watt Pwn3age… NHL STYLE!”

HS:” Will you shut up with that! You don’t even know what it means.“

(As soon as the bell is heard, Andy Peek walks up to NHL and gets into his face. They are standing nose to nose and Peek is just jawing ‘Henry’ out. NHL keeps a serious expression on his face, turns his head, turns it back, and then nails Peek with a thunderous right hand. The crowd erupts with boos, as Andy Peek scurries off the mat and into the ropes.)

HS: "That was a cheap blow. The referee better tell NHL to keep those fist open."

FJ: "It wasn't a cheap blow. Andy Peek shouldn't have been in Henry's face."

(Peek grabs the ropes and pulls himself up. NHL stares cockily, and jumps up and down a little bit, loosening him up some more. He again makes his way towards NHL, this time more carefully. He gets close enough to NHL and they lookup with a collar-elbow tie-up. After a few seconds of the tie-up, both men break cleanly, neither one of them being able to connect with a move. Seeing as the tie-up didn't prove to do anything, Peek raises his hand and he looks up at it.)

HS: "Neither man proved to be the stronger with the tie-up, let's see who comes out on top with this show of strength."

(NHL begins to raise his hand and then changes his mind. The fans boo at this show of cowardice. The fans boo until he turns to look back at Peek and gets caught with a standing dropkick. The fans quickly change their boos to cheers as NHL gets back up and then gets nailed with another standing dropkick.)

FJ: "When you take your eye off your opponent you open yourself up to attack. This young man learned the hard way."

HS: "Again, I have to agree with you. Which is something I hate to do. Don't expect him to make that mistake too often however."

(NHL isn't able to get up to his feet as quickly as he has before, and Peek helps him up and then does a T-bone Suplex on him. The ref quickly goes down and makes the count……..1……….2………3……)

FJ: “KICKOUT!”

(Nathaniel Henry Lee is just able to kick-out of the three-count and Peek pounds the mat because he thought he had him.)

HS: "This match came awfully close to an end after that pin attempt. Nathaniel better step it up if he is going to try and win this thing."

(NHL gets up and grabs Peek's head, getting him back up to his feet. NHL says a few words to Peek, and then whips him into the turnbuckle. He walks over to him, and climbs up onto the second rope. He then starts pounding away on him. The fans count on as he does.)

One!

Two!

Three!

Four!

Five!

Six!

Seven!

Eight!

(At eight, Andy Peek reaches out and grabs him underneath his arms. He pushes forward and catches him with a Sit-Out Powerbomb.)

HS: "What a reversal by Andy Peek! I sure thought he was done!"

FJ: "That just tells ya Herbie. Never count a man out. Unless he is The Fish!"

(Peek hooks the leg and the ref goes down for the count………1…………2…………3….)

FJ: "Another close one! This has turned out one hell of a match."

HS: "And you thought NHL would win outright!"

(Though Peek is up to his feet he is shaky-legged. He picks up NHL and sticks him between his legs. He takes a couple of seconds to get his breath, and then delivers a Piledriver on the "Englishman". The crowd cheers at the sight of Henry going down and Peek wearily walks outside of the ring, onto the apron.)

HS: "What can we expect here?"

FJ: "You've called enough matches that you should know he is getting ready to do something off the top rope"

(NHL is in a perfect spot for Peek to hit and Peek jumps up to the middle rope. He bounces up to the top rope and leaps off into a beautiful Shooting Star Press.)

HS: "Look at that height! If he hits the Peek-A-Star, he has this thing won."

(As Peek is coming down, Henry rolls out of the way and Peek hits HARD on the mat. NHL gets up to his feet and stalks Andy Peek.)

HS: "NHL was playing possum! He rolled out of the way and Andy Peek came down hard. Look at the grin on the Englishmen’s face. He had that planned all along."

FJ: "Good job there by the "Englishman". Let's see if he can capitalize."

(Andy Peek makes it up to his feet, and as he does, NHL runs to the opposing ropes and comes back with a viscous clothesline. The clothesline connects with such velocity it knocks Peek right onto his back. NHL then decides that this match has been too close for his comfort and picks Peek up. He then hits him with the Slapshot. NHL quickly pins bay for the 1,2,3. The match is then awarded to NHL.)

FJ:” HE PWN3ED HIM!

HS: “Well I guess it’s better than that wabablamlamb thing…”

FJ: Say what?

HS: I dont know, folks we will be right back dont go away!!!

(Another commercial break, more boring commercials play followed by another Classic TV APPEARANCE, this one talking about imortalizing the 2005 hall of fame class as well as the 2005 AWA Awards. Follwing the TV APPEARANCE we again see the parental advisory and then fade back to the arena.)

[‘Open Your Eyes’ by Alter Bridge hits over the P.A. system and out from the back emerges the No Limit Champion, ‘The Icon’ John Williams. With his shimmering championship strapped securely around his waist, Williams poses at the top of the entrance ramp before proceeding to the ring. Williams ignores the fans and heads into the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Williams stalks around the ring looking into the crowd before finding his corner. Williams removes his championship from around his waist and hands it to the official. Williams proceeds to stare down the ramp, waiting for ‘The Gambit’ to show his face…]

[The arena darkens slowly. An air siren begins to sound, with green spotlights shooting in all directions as an infamous slogan is revealed on the big screen:

COME N' PLACE YA BETS!!

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses suddenly thunders over the P.A system. The Gambit steps out from behind the curtain, with the AWA ‘Polish’ Championship in his left hand, which is being carried very nonchalantly. With a traditional cigarette in his mouth as Lasiewicz stalks his way down to the ring, and he cracks a cheeky grin at the hideous reaction from the crowd. He circles the ring, rolls in and stands on the turnbuckle surveying the fans with a Cheshire Cat grin. He hops off and stops for a minute receiving the reaction of all the fans. He then walks slowly over to the top rope before perching himself on the top rope raising his right arm in the air as the crowd boos and screams…)

[The two men stood center ring Williasm moves towards Lassie and extends his hand requesting a hand shake, but Lassie just chuckles and backs away. The two men then stand mid ring staring the other down trying to gain some sort of mental edge. As expected, neither of these great athletes budge. The ref told both of the two to get the match going and finally they complied and a lock up with the collar-elbow tie up started things off for us. Williams came out of the tie up and got the upper hand, riding Lasiewicz down to the mat with a key lock. Andreas quickly broke the hold and kipped up and struck at Williams with a series of European Uppercuts. Andreas followed up the advantage with some very deep arm drags followed by a Fujiwara Armbar to Williams. Williams was able to roll back and out of the move and fired back at Lasiewicz with some stiff chops and a back elbow to the bridge of “The Gambit’s” nose. Andreas quickly rolled out of the ring to check his nose and rethink strategy.]

[Andreas Lasiewicz saw no blood and appeared relieved, rolling back into the ring looking to get back some revenge. The two men locked up again with the collar-elbow tie up. This time, Andreas came out on top when he locked on a top wrist lock. Andreas flipped Williams over with a judo toss and brought the arm of Williams into a hammer. Andreas proceeded to work Williams to the mat, at which time he locked on a Crossface Chicken wing. Williams quickly worked his way over to the rope and the action took a break again.]

[Williams and Lasiewicz go for a third collar-elbow tie up and again Andreas gets the upper hand, this time with a knee to the gut of Williams. Lasiewicz quickly followed up with a series of haymakers and a kick to the gut. Andreas hit a vertical suplex on Williams and rolled over looking for a pinfall, but Williams kicked out with ease at a little after one. Andreas didn’t hesitate in following up and went to work on the knee of Williams by stomping away at the back of the knee repeatedly. Andreas proceeded to wait for Williams to get to his feet and hits a nasty running chop block on Williams once he is on his feet. Lasiewicz followed up after that with a step through leg drop on the left knee of Williams and then turned it into a leg bar submission. Williams quickly escaped by again going to the ropes. Andreas didn’t stop his assault and pulled the reeling Williams from the ropes and started stomping away again at the inside of the leg and knee of Williams. Williams tried to fight off Andreas, but was unsuccessful as Andreas locked in a spinning toe hold.]

[On the third spin on the toe hold, Williams is able to counter and roll Andreas into a pinfall situation, but only scores a two count. John finally is able to get in some offense as he immediately countered a punch attempt by Lasiewicz. Williams served Andreas with a good series of stiff chops on one good leg. Only having one good leg does not stop Williams as he brought the fight right too Lasiewicz. Williams wisely started hitting moves that didn’t hurt his already damaged leg, such as hitting a Russian Leg Sweep. Williams followed up the leg sweep with a rear chinlock, trying to get his knee in better shape by wasting some time on the clock. Andreas made one failed attempt to leave the hold, but Williams quickly took Lasiewicz into a side headlock. Lasiewicz definitely started showing signs of frustration as Williams was clearly out wrestling the champion. Williams proceeded to ground Andreas with the headlock and shot the half and picked the leg of Andreas and started returning the favor and locked on a grapevined ankle lock. Andreas showed obvious signs of pain, but had the sense to squirm to the ropes and break the hold. Williams didn’t give Lasiewicz time to breathe as he immediately brought the Polish Champion to his feet and dropped him with a Falling Reverse DDT. John Williams opted to forget about going for a pinfall and rather locked in the STF to Andreas Lasiewicz! Andreas looked to be on the verge of tapping, but luckily he was able to hold on and Williams released the hold for some reason or another. Perhaps thinking he could still administer more pain to Lasiewicz.]

[Williams stayed on Andreas and dropped him with a sleeper neckbreaker. Williams quickly applied a camel clutch and looked again to try to get a submission victory. Williams started jumping on the back of Andreas and was successful twice. The third attempt ended terribly as Andreas was able to flip over and knee Williams in the groin region. Williams immediately dropped to the mat and Lasiewicz stayed down to recuperate.]

[With the referee at the count of seven, Andreas rises to his feet and with a slight limp, goes back to attacking Williams. Andreas waited for Williams to return to his feet and charged in and connected with the Polish Hammer once he did get to his feet. Andreas repeats the previous equation, and nailed the Polish Hammer again on Williams. Williams looked to be out on his feet as he got up under his own tuition and Andreas made him pay buy hitting a huge Russian Leg Sweep. Andreas signaled for the end and slapped Williams in the face before going for the Four Card Trick. Andreas swung through with the spinning toe hold but Williams countered and pushed Lasiewicz off with his good leg.]

[Williams stunningly gets his second wind and hit’s a bunch of high impact moves with a very noticeable limp. Williams hit’s a bulldog and a big Cradle Piledriver, just seconds apart from the other. Williams followed that up by going to the top rope and hitting a top rope leg drop! Williams covers but only gets a two. Williams gets up looking to put Lasie away and hit’s a huge running shoulder tackle. Williams signals for the end and brings Andreas up for the All She Wrote, but Andreas wiggled free and hit his Peace Maker out of no where! Andreas quickly locks in the Four Card Trick center ring and Williams tapped out in a shocking finish! Lassiewicz celebrates in the ring wihle John Williams slowly and exhaustedly pulls himself to his feet. Williams looks over at Lassie and moves in his direction, Lassie sees im coming and turns ready to fight, but only finds the outstretched hand of Williams once again looking for a hand shake,a nd ocne again Lassie blows him off. Williams shakes but as the referee is coming into the ring with the belts Williams grabs both and stares at Lassie]

FJ: So much for this honor thing he had going, he is stealing the Polish Title!

(Williams holding both titles stares at Lassie who stares back with a disgusted look. Williams then extends his hand with the US Title in it and hands the belt over to Lassie. He then turns and leaves the ring to the cheers of the crowd slapping hands all the way up the ramp as Lassie watches him with a bewildred look on his face
