AWA SUNDAY NIGHT SHOCK, February 13, 2005, Omaha, NE, Qwest Center

(We fade into the arena as pyros shoot off and the fans are screaming going nuts for a live AWA show. All around we see signs from the adoring fans. Signs like “Cruiserweights are back” and “6 times Low” As well as ones like “SSS” for Baird and “We’re in for a Gamble tonight” as we go to Frank and Herb at there tables.)

HS: Hello everybody I am Herb Summers.

FJ: And I am Frank Jackson.

HS: And welcome to live Sunday night Shock from Omaha, Nebraska at the Qwest Center.

FJ: Here in the heartland of our country do we sure have a show for you tonight.

HS: That’s’ right Frank hot action from begingin to end starting off the show with a great 4 way match with 4 new stars and then Cruiserweight action and Williams in action. And we’re gonna see the bet makers of our sport square off one on one with BJ and Lassie.

FJ: But don’t forget the Main Event the 6 time Champion Low is going to defend that belt against the ever so sure and impressive Collin Baird.

HS: Well lets not wait another minute for talk and get straight to action with our first match of the evening!

(Rev is already in the ring as Beautiful People by Manson blares throughout the arena as Johnny Hollywood makes his way to the ring. On the titan tron it shows clips of Johnny signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Johnny then slides into the ring and stands in the middle of the ring and does a quick photo pose for the fans. Soon followed by The lights go out and Thunderstruck starts playing (guitar). Lights on the ceiling flash white and yellow. On the first “Thunder” 4 flame jets shoot up on each side of the front of the stage. The lights then come on and Terry comes in, stopping on the front of the stage before the ramp. He points to the fans on one said, then the other before walking down the ramp. Terry stops at the end of the ramp and gets onto his knees. He then points to the ceiling with his right and holds it for 3 seconds as jets (like HBK’s) shoot back and forward along the top of the ramp. Terry then gets up and runs to the ring, sliding in under the ropes. He stops in the middle of the ring and quickly jumps up. As he does a jet of flame shoots up from each ringpost. And then comes out Cerebrus as The beginning guitar music by Yngwei Malmsteen’s “Vengeance” starts playing (it sounds kind of classical at first), then as it winds down to the end of the classical-like music pyros go off from the stage like Jericho's and the fast more hardcore music kicks in as Cerberus struts down the ramp to the ring.)

HS: This is a huge match for all 4 of these men.

FJ: Yea they all really got the chance to make a name for themselves here.

HS: That’s the truth lets hand it over to them and see how they do.

( The bell sounds and Cerebrus makes the first strike as he charges Rev and clotheslines him up and over to the outside as he flips out there and whacks into the steel steps.)

HS: Good lord what a first strike early on in here.

FJ: I like that guy already.

( Cererbrus turns around and is met by James splashing him into the corner and then he snap mares him out of it and dropkicsk the back of his head. Hollywood charges and cross bodies over Cerebruses down body to get James but James catches him and scoop slams him onto Cerebrus. He goes up to the second rope and leaps off with a senton splash on both men.)

HS: What a big move that was.

FJ: He’s taking an early advantage here.

(He picks up Hollywood and whips him across the ring and then splashes him int the corner and charges at Cerebrus with a clothesline but he ducks it and sends him to the mat with a floating neck breaker from behind. As he gets up so does The rev onto the apron from the outside and he springboards up and over but Cerebrus catches him and power bombs him down to the mat going for the cover. ONE…TWO..Hollywood breaks up the 3 count. He grabs Cerebrus and forearms him a couple times then Cerebrus blocks one and chops him hard then delivers a huge uppercut as James hit’s a standing moonsault on Rev in the ring and goes for the cover. Cerebrus turns around and kicks James off but James catches his feet and trips him then flips over into a cover on Cerebrus holding both his legs but he kicks out.)

HS: I don’t know who to watch in here, everyone is showing what they got.

FJ: Except that Rev guy, he’s not making the best first impression.

HS; Must not be all in it here, like he should be in the AWA.

( All four men are now up to there feet as Cerebrus slugs it out with James and Hollywood slugs it out with Rev all four men delivering punches and forearms to there respective opponent and then Cerebrus whips James into the ropes and on the opposite side Hollywood whips Rev into the turnbuckle, Cerebrus power slams James to the mat and Hollywood catches him on the return with a attempt at a piledriver but Cerebrus counters out with a T-bone suplex tossing him into James as he gets up and then gets up and kicks Rev in the gut as he comes out of the corner for Cerebrus.)

HS: Cerebrus really looking dominant a little more then the rest of these guys.

FJ: Making a good impression on these 3 men.

(He grabs Rev and applies The Forearm Sleeper as he drags him out of the corner and then turns it into a very unique and modified DDT. )

HS: He calls that the Howler DDT

FJ: Looks devastating.

HS: He’s going for the cover.

(One..Two…Three! He stands up with his hand being raised as his music starts to play and the fans applaud his efforts as we fade to a commercial for Coca-Cola, the sponsors of AWA Vortex.)

(The lights go off, Chapter Four by Avenged Sevenfold start as projectors scan the crowd. It spots Jeff coming out of the crowd walking down the stairs of the Floor level signing autographs. He receives a multitude of cheers. He climbs over the barricade and enter the ring. Silver pyros goes off on the four sides of the ring. He starts stretching on the ring.)

FJ: “Wow, at last another cruiserweight match. I am soooo excited…”

HS: “Hey, no need for sarcasm Frank. Both Xtreme Jeff and Stevo have given us tremendous action in the past, and I see no reason why they would do any worse tonight.”

FJ: “Yeah, yeah. Bring the other midget in so we can move on with this already.”

("The Taste of Ink," by The Used begins to play and Stevo and Dirty immediately walk down the entrance ramp towards the ring with the fans cheering. Stevo is wearing a black sleeveless shirt that reads "801" in white letters, tight dark denim jeans, and blue and white basketball shoes. He has a red wristband on his left arm and a black wristband on his right arm. He is wearing a pair of Aviator sunglasses. Dirty is wearing a tight pair of ladies' purplish pink jeans and black shoes. He has on a black T-shirt. Stevo slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope while Dirty stays on the outside. Stevo reaches his right hand out for a handshake, but XTJ looks hesitant whether to take it or not.)

HS: “Jeff doesn’t look sure that Stevo has honest intentions with that offer.”

FJ: “Don’t fall for it Jeff. Stevo is up to no good. He’ll just take advantage of it.”

(After a few seconds of hesitation, XTJ grabs his opponent’s hand and shakes it. The wrestlers back away a few steps from each other and wait for the bell. DING! XTJ immediately charges with a clothesline, but Stevo reverses it with an armdrag takedown. XTJ comes to his feet almost before he hit the mat, and crashes into Stevo with a standing dropkick. He follows it up with a splash, but Stevo pulls his knees up. XTJ rolls off him with both hands pressed against his chest. Stevo gets to his feet, gains momentum by catapulting from the ropes, and hits XTJ, who is just getting up, with a dropkick to the chest, sending both men to the canvas. Stevo gets on top and slaps XTJ’s face a couple of times, until XTJ breaks out and rolls Stevo over into a cradle. The ref begins to count, but Stevo kicks out after 2, and reverses the cradle for a two count. Both wrestlers are involved in a flurry of reversals on the mat, and neither of them get more than a one count at any time.)

HS: “What a beginning of the match! This is nonstop action all the way from the cruiserweights.”

(Eventually both men get to their feet, and begin exchanging punches. Stevo locks XTJ’s wrist, and sends him into the ropes, and on the rebound he connects with a superkick. XTJ staggers backwards, but doesn’t fall. Stevo hits him with a moonsault, and hooks the legs.)

FJ: “Come on now ref… ONE… TWO… no! Jeff kicked out!”

(The moonsault seems to have taken its toll on Stevo, and after kicking out, XTJ is the first on to get to his feet. He climbs to the top rope, but doesn’t see that Stevo is up as well. Just as XTJ reaches the top Stevo springboards off the top rope and connects with a flying shoulderblock. XTJ loses his balance and drops to the floor outside the ring.)

HS: “Oh my God! XTJ was going for a high-risk maneuver, but Stevo was able to avoid it with that awesome move!”

FJ: “I bet XTJ is in Xtreme pain now! That was quite a drop from the top rope!”

HS: “And here comes Stevo!”

(Stevo pulls himself over the top rope in a front flip move, crashing back first into the prone XTJ. Both men are out on the floor. The ref starts counting them out. ONE. TWO. Stevo gets up. THREE. He pulls XTJ up, and tries to smash his head to the guardrail. XTJ blocks it though, and instead smashes Stevo’s face into the steel. FOUR. XTJ shoves his opponent back into the ring, and then climbs to the top rope.)

HS: “Looks like Jeff is going to the top again. Being sent to the floor obviously didn’t discourage him.”

FJ: “Some people just never learn. The youngest wrestler in the AWA is also proving to be the most thick-headed one!”

(XTJ stands on the top rope, waiting for Stevo to, slowly, get to his feet. Then he jumps out in a missile dropkick. Stevo never saw it coming, and is sent to the canvas. When he gets back to his feet again, XTJ is already waiting for him, and connects with a hurricanrana, and then a cover. ONE… TWO… THR… Stevo gets a shoulder up. XTJ hooks the legs for a second go. ONE… TWO… kick out. Both men get to their feet and seem to have new energy. Some fast paced action follows, when neither man really gets any successful offense, but showcase their talent. They perform a lot of back body drops, where the opponent does a flip and lands on his feet, springboards off ropes as well as the opponent and so on. The fans enjoy it, and cheer like crazy.)

HS: “Whoa! This is making me dizzy!”

FJ: “What is this; the American Wrestling Alliance, or the American Flying Circus!?”

HS: “This is the cruiserweight division, Frank. I love it!”

(XTJ eventually gets the upper hand when Stevo is going for a back body drop, but Jeff jumps up on his back, and then performs a shooting star press-like move from, and onto, the back of his opponent!)

HS: “Oh my! What a move that was! Stevo hit the canvas face first with tremendous force there. The impact has knocked him out cold!”

(XTJ gets up, not very steady on his feet. He raises both hands into the air, and the crowd reacts with cheers. Then he once again climbs the ropes. This time he connects with a leg drop to Stevo’s back. He rolls his opponent over and gets on top of him for the cover.)

FJ: “This has to be it. Stevo is not even conscious!”

(ONE… TWO… THRE… No! Stevo gets his shoulder up. XTJ cannot believe it. He gets up, yells at the referee and jumps up and down with frustration. Then he gives Stevo a quick elbow drop and goes for the ropes again. As he is climbing though, Stevo manages to get to his feet and move to the corner. He gives XTJ a series of forearm blows, and then sets him up for a superplex.)

HS: “The tide has turned! Stevo with a superplex!”

(The wrestlers crash to the canvas, and both are slow getting up. Stevo is a little quicker though, and when XTJ reaches an upright position, he is met with a spinning elbow from Stevo, who has jumped up and springboarded from the middle rope. XTJ falls down, and Stevo hits him with a leg drop. He then climbs the ropes and waves his right arm in the air.)

HS: “The Aviator! Stevo is going for The Aviator!”

(XTJ is beginning to rise, when Stevo hits him with the Aviator. Stevo hooks the leg and gets the count. ONE… TWO… THREE!)

HS: “Stevo wins it! This one is over!”

FJ: “Thank you Stevo!”

HS: “Great performances from both guys, but Stevo came out the winner of this one.” ( We fade to commercial for the Cruiserweight Divisions greatest matches and then come back to the announcers table.)

HS: “Ladies and gentlemen, up next is a match that surprised a number of people. One half of former AWA Tag Team title contenders La Revolution, “The Hammer“ Jacques A'Mer is making his return to the AWA. Let us take you back to what transpired only two days ago on AWA Xplosion.“

(At the bottom of the screen it says “Two Days Ago“ as we see Low leaving the ring with Brian Williams looking on. Suddenly, Jacques A'Mer slides into the ring and attacks Williams from behind. Williams is barely phased, however, and A'Mer quickly leaves the ring. Low, however, uses the distraction to attack Williams from behind with a hockey stick.)

HS: “Jacques A'Mer helped distract Brian Williams in an obvious set up orchestrated by Low. Tonight, Williams is seeking revenge on this tough returnee.“

(“Republique Francais“ begins to play and the fans immediately start booing loudly as Jacques A'Mer, waving the French flag, steps out from the back. He insults some of the fans as he makes his way down the ramp.)

HS: “Jacques A'Mer used to team with Audrien D'Augbine as La Revolution. One year ago, they came very close to winning the AWA Tag Team title on several occasions. Today, A'Mer looks to make a name for himself by taking on the 2004 Wrestler Of The Year.“

(A'Mer gets into the ring and waves his French flag. Suddenly, the lights go out, and as the first chords of Metallica's “Orion“ begin to play, the crowd explodes and begins cheering loudly. The deep blue light shines down the ramp as smoke billows from the entrance. The fans cheer even louder as Brian Williams emerges from the haze and walks down the ramp... slow, but deliberate.)

FJ: “Look at the look in his eyes.“

HS: “Brian Williams has done more in less than two years in the AWA than many other men could ever dream of achieving in their entire career. He is the most dominant World Champion...“

FJ: “...to come along since Low!“

HS: “That's not what I was going to say.“

FJ: “But it's the truth.“

HS: “Whatever. Two-time World Champion, former Tag Team, Television and Hardcore Champion... and today, Brian Williams is also a changed man.“

(Williams gets onto the ring apron and then steps into the ring over the ropes. He walks up to A'Mer and the two stand face to face. A'Mer starts trash talking Williams, but Williams doesn't seem to react at all. The referee calls for the bell.)

HS: “This match has started, ladies and gentlemen!“

FJ: “Williams now has to face a fresh man that is hungry to prove himself.“

HS: “And A'Mer has started it!“

(Indeed, A'Mer is throwing a number of punches at Williams, but Williams only staggers back a few steps. He gets the advantage by placing his knee right into A'Mer's midsection. Williams grabs A'Mer by the throat, lifts him up and delivers a thunderous choke slam! As the fans chant Williams' name, he pulls A'Mer up to his feet, applies a half nelson, puts his other arm around A'Mer's chin and then lifts him up to apply Fate's Reprisal! Not even four seconds into the hold, A'Mer has no option but to tap out.)

FJ: “What!?!?“

HS: “It's already over! Brian Williams has easily disposed of Jacques A'Mer.“

(Williams holds on to Fate's Reprisal for a few more seconds before releasing the hold, as “Orion“ begins to play. And we fade to commercial.)

HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, our next match of the evening pits Andreas Lasiewicz against BlackJack."

FJ: "We have a chance to see BlackJack really get creamed here."

HS: "What makes you think that, Frank?"

FJ: "I just have some inside information."

(As they continue to argue, the arena darkens slowly. An air siren begins to sound, with green spotlights shooting in all directions as an infamous slogan is revealed on the big screen: COME N PLACE YA BETS!! "Welcome to the Jungle" suddenly thunders from the P. A system. The Gambit steps out from behind the curtain, a traditional cigarette in his mouth as he stalks his way down to the ring, and he cracks a cheeky grin at the mixed reaction from the crowd. He circles the ring, rolls in and stands on the turnbuckle surveying the fans with a grin. He hops off and stops for a minute receiving the reaction of all the fans. He then walks slowly over to the top rope before perching himself on the top rope raising his right arm in the air as the crowd screams.)

FJ: "What did I tell you? Lassie looks ready tonight."

HS: "Do you honestly think BlackJack isn't ready?"

FJ: "No, I don't think BlackJack is ready for the match."

HS: "He's been on an impressive winning streak as of late. Even beating your beloved Low."

(We hear Frank sigh as Booker T and the MG's-"Green Onions hits and Blackjack appears on the ramp way and as the guitar chimes in Pyros shoot up from each side of the ramp all the way down, at every chime of the guitar as he makes his way down. He climbs into the ring going to the middle and raises his arms out and up then tosses off his Leather Jacket.)

HS: "Two talents with very bright futures are about to square off."

FJ: "One talent, and a talentless bum."

HS: "So you're saying a talentless bum beat Low?"

FJ: "I'm saying the win over Low was a fluke. He couldn't do it again in a thousand years."

(Andreas Lasiewicz and BlackJack meet in the middle of the ring. They lock up, with the advantage going to neither man. We see Andreas Lasiewicz send a quick knee to the gut of BlackJack. We now see Lasiewicz quickly apply a side headlock. BlackJack, being the great ring technician he is, quickly backs Lasiewicz into the ropes and Irish whips him to the other side of the ring. Lasiewicz bounces off the ropes and is caught by a deep arm drag. BlackJack now applies a side armbar on Lasiewicz.)

HS: "Two technical experts working their magic in the ring."

FJ: "Two guys that aren't the Legendary Low, Ray Owens, or Dark Warrior."

HS: "No, but BlackJack holds a win over two out of the three."

FJ: "Your point is? It wasn't in a Low rules match..."

(Now we see BlackJack release the hold and begin to pick Lasiewicz up by the head. Lasiewicz punches BlackJack in the stomach three times, and then stands up on his feet. Lasiewicz quickly plants BlackJack with a DDT. Lasiewicz, quick to again take advantage of an opportunity, lays a boot to the head of BlackJack. He lays another boot to the head of BlackJack, and picks him up. Lasiewicz hits BlackJack with a quick European uppercut, which knocks BlackJack back into the ropes. BlackJack bounces off the ropes and connects a Hook clothesline spun around opponent into a dropping headlock, otherwise known as a Flashback. Both wrestlers lay on the mat.)

FJ: "What a desperate move."

HS: "Desperate? BlackJack is getting up."

FJ: "So is Lasiewicz."

(We hear the referee break the count, at five, as we see both BlackJack and a Lasiewicz trading right hands. BlackJack begins to get the best of the altercation and begins throwing in a series of stiff boxing style left and right hands. He sends Lasiewicz down. Lasiewicz pops back up on instinct and is met by a jumping calf kick. BlackJack goes for the quick cover. One ... two... Lasiewicz kicks out.)

HS: "Lasiewicz kicks out after a count of two."

FJ: "Come on Andreas... I put a lot of money on you to win this match."

(Herb sighs as we get back to the action. BlackJack begins to pick up Andreas Lasiewicz, but while the referee is in a blind spot, Lasiewicz low blows BlackJack. Lasiewicz, now on his feet, supports BlackJack weight for a minute. Then, Lasiewicz hits a quick Snap suplex on BlackJack. He rolls over for a cover. The referee begins to count. One... Two... The referee now finds Lasiewicz is choking BlackJack and begins another count. One... Two... Three... Four... Lasiewicz breaks the hold.)

HS: "What a disrespectful move. Lasiewicz should be disqualified."

FJ: "It's perfectly legal as long as you break by the count of four."

HS: "Frank, if it was legal, then there would be no need to count, would there?"

FJ: "The referee could like counting to four... One... Two... Three... Four...

(We hear another Herb sigh as Lasiewicz picks BlackJack up, only to Bodyslam him back down to the mat. Lasiewicz, to capitalize on this opportunity, begins to hook the Texas Cloverleaf on BlackJack. BlackJack attempts to fight it, but Lasiewicz uses his small weight advantage to turn him over. We can see a look on BlackJack that shows he's in a lot of pain.)

FJ: "It's OVER! BLACKJACK'S GOING TO TAP!

(We now see BlackJack begin crawling towards the ropes, which aren't that far away.)

HS: "I wouldn't be to sure about that Frank."

FJ: "TAP! YOU HAVE TO TAP!"

(BlackJack is now inches away from the ropes. His hand hits the mat once, with his arm fully extending all the way out, and touches nothing. He fully extends his arm again and touches nothing.)

FJ: "HE'S TAPPING! HE'S TAPPING!"

(Unlike what Frank says, BlackJack reaches out a third time, and grabs the bottom rope. The referee begins a four count for Andreas Lasiewicz to break the Texas Cloverleaf. One... Two... Three... Four... Lasiewicz breaks the hold and begins to argue with the official.)

FJ: "It's not fair... He tapped..."

HS: "Frank, he was reaching for the ropes."

FJ: "He tapped..."

HS: "Frank, are you ok?"

FJ: "HE TAPPED!"

(Lasiewicz is unaware that BlackJack has begun to pull himself up. BlackJack quickly, and quietly makes his way behind Lasiewicz. BlackJack rolls the unsuspecting Lasiewicz up. One... Two... Thr. Lasiewicz kicks out.)

HS: "BlackJack tried to pull a fast one there..."

(Both men reach their feet quickly, but BlackJack begins to hit a quick series of Karate kicks on Lasiewicz. Lasiewicz now looks to be off balance, and throws a desperation Haymaker. BlackJack ducks under. Lasiewicz turns around and is met by an Ace of Spades. BlackJack makes the cover again. One... Two... Three...)

HS: "The match is over."

FJ "NOOOOOOOOO!"

HS: "Ladies and Gentlemen, BlackJack has pulled out another great victory."

FJ: "I lost the bet..."

HS: "We're going to take a commercial break, and try and get Frank some counseling for his betting habits while we're gone. We're back with our Main Event, next.

(We fade to a series of commercials. We see a BlackJack Gatorade commercial. Promotion for the Dark Warrior DVD, the 'Real World Champion.' And we see a commercial for the Vortex pay per view.)

(When we come back to the arena Those quite familiar guitar riffs by Joe Perry of Aerosmith accompanied by Nelly's lyrical flow are heard throughout the arena. The crowd stops in their tracks and to the rafters, while "#1" plays throughout the arena. The Superstar, steps from behind the curtain and salutes the crowd, down on one knee with his hands in the air. He's wearing his trademark navy blue and gold ring attire. The crowd begins to make their way back to the seats, booing as they do it, for The Superstar Colin Baird. Colin makes his way in usual fashion, dancing and playing to the crowd with a smile on his face, loving every minute of it. Colin dances down the ring, until making it to the ring. He hops up on the apron, and swings his hips while grasping the ropes. He then steps through the ropes, and begins to twirl in circles in the ring, as the lights dim, with 'Superstar' spotlights on the ring. After spinning with his arms out, and finds his place in the center of the ring, and poses for the crowd. Golden pyro shoots in a big X's to the rafters behind him, and the fans hatred continuing to build. Shortly after this, the lights are restored.)

FJ: “Egomaniacal jackass”

HS: “I don’t like him, the fans don’t like him, no one likes him Frank, but this is the biggest night of his young career, and it will be a barn burning extravaganza tonight as the Superstar, faces The Legendary Low.”

FJ: “Baird is a god in his own eyes Herb, but tonight he meets the man that walks on water, himself The 6 time World Heavyweight Champion Low.”

(“Tilt” by Scott Walker begins to play as the arena goes into darkness, from behind the curtain steps The World Champion. With the belt proudly displayed around his waist, Low begins an ascent towards the ring, in which he locks eyes with Baird, The stare down continues right to the top of the stairs, and Low undoes his title, steps through the ropes and walks to the centre of the ring where he dangles the title in Baird’s face. The lights come on and both men go to their corners as the ref takes Low’s belt.)

HS: “Look at the focus on the face of Low”

FJ: “He looks on his game tonight, Herb. I think we will witness Low doing whatever he wants, just like he always does.”

(Both men circle around and then dive in with the collar and elbow tie up. Baird pushes Low backwards into the corner, and then the ref breaks the lockup, Baird attempts to punch Low while in the corner however Low just gets out of the way, and spins around into the centre of the ring, Baird charges, and Low drops down delivering an arm drag. Baird rolls through, and charges again getting hit with another Arm drag Baird slides out of the ring to get some air, and calm down, however Low stays on the attack following him out. Low stalks forward and Baird goats him into drawing closer and closer, Low lunges forward but catches a knee to the gut, and Baird grabs him head, slamming it off of the ring apron, and then again and again. He rolls Low back in to the ring no, and enters him self. Baird drops a knee into Low’s back, and then applies a version of the rear chin lock, wrenching down on Low’s neck, Baird holds the move until Low gets his vertical base, at which time he reverses the chin lock into a hammer lock, Baird tries to struggle free, however Low negotiates himself into a different position, sweeps Baird’s feet out from under him, and then applies the Fujiwara Arm-bar.)

HS: “Low is as technically sound as any man in the history of the AWA, and he will punish Baird all night with these deadly submission maneuvers. “

FJ: “Come on Low….Rip his arm off!!”

(Low pulls back on the arm of Baird as Baird screams in pain, trying frantically to escape, Low however continues to grind him back down to the mat upon each of his attempts to raise himself. Finally Low sits up And then brings a tired Colin Baird to his feet with him, Low then delivers a body slam, followed by a knee drop, and then several punches between the eyes of Baird. Low then stands up and then drives an elbow drop into Baird, and then goes for the cover. He gets a quick two count however Baird escapes, and then Low is right back on the offensive as Baird gets to his knees, Low flies in stomping away at his shoulder region, then grabbing Baird by the arm and picking him up and then whipping him into the ropes. Low attempts a lariat, however Baird ducks and hits the ropes and retaliates with his own lariat that puts Low down, Baird then goes on the offensive as he drives two or three elbow drops into Low’s chest. He picks up Low and delivers a running powerslam. Baird stays down with a nonchalant cover attempt, he gets a long one count before Low kicks out with authority. Baird however, then mounts Low and starts to rain down punches into Low’s skull, as Low tries to cover up. Low makes a good effort in blocking most of them however a few break through, before Baird decides to drag Low back to his feet, and then he steps around the side of Low and delivers a Russian Leg sweep. Baird then decides to climb the turnbuckle and take flight. Baird gets to the top, and leaps off delivering a flying elbow Drop. He then covers Low again, this time hooking the leg and getting a two count before Low kicks out. Baird slaps the mat in frustration, before dragging Low up again this time, whipping him into the corner and following up with a hard, flying avalanche in the corner. Low slumps down in the corner a little, as Baird stomps his chest a few times, and then grabs his leg, and drags him to the centre of the ring. Where Baird rolls Low over and locks in an ankle lock on Low, who begins to clutch at his hair in pain. Baird continues to sinch it in deeper and deeper, Low seems to be in incredible pain, )

HS: “You don’t think that Baird could make Low submit?”

FJ: “NO NO NO…I have gotta do something!!”

HS: “Sit down Frank!”

(Low has now began to get some leverage as he is dragging himself towards the ropes, Baird is trying to stop him but Low is too persistent as he finally reaches the ropes, and Baird is forced to release the hold. Baird then raises his arms to the jeering fans. Low is grabbing at his ankle, and Baird then walks forward casually grabbing Low, and lifting him upside down spinning and dropping him right on his head in a tombstone piledriver. Baird then hooks the leg again, 1…………..2……………..1/2… Low barely gets a shoulder up in time. Baird then attempts the cover again, this time getting only a two count. He slaps the mat in frustration, picking a limp Low up by a handful of hair, before delivering a perfect standing drop kick. Low hits hard, and then Baird floats right over to him, hooking in a reverse chin lock. Low struggles in the chin lock as Baird continues to grind down on him. The ref checks Low’s arm but he doesn’t seem to have started to fade yet. Low begin to fight the hold, by grabbing Baird’s hands, and turning. Low then gains his vertical base, forcing Baird upwards, and effectively applying a top wrist lock, Baird then starts to battle back, and Low starts to get pushes back to the mat, but instead he turns and releases Baird, so that he can deliver a drop toe hold. Low hangs onto the leg of Baird and attempts an ankle lock however Baird quickly flips back on his back, and kicks Low in the face, sending Low backwards. Baird nips up to his feet, and as Low stumbles forward, Baird steps backwards and then forward twice, delivering a hellacious superkick. Low’s head snaps back, and we see his eyes take a blank expression, as he falls facefirst on the canvas. Baird rolls him over and falls on top of him, hooking the leg again.)

HS: “We could have a new champion…”

FJ: “Low looks like he is out cold.”

HS: “Baird may well have done it….”

(The ref drops down counting one….two……but Low just barely gets his shoulders up. Baird looks down amazed and then puts his head in his hands, and begins to shake his head. He looks down at Low, and then picks up Low again. He whips Low to the ropes and as Low rebounds Baird delivers a big boot and then a leg drop. He then signifies that he is going up top. Baird begins to climb the ropes taking a little more time than needed. Low manages to pull himself to the ropes, and dives across them causing Bair to lose his balance and straddle the turnbuckle. Baird remains on the turnbuckle, likely questioning his ability to have children, as Low tries to clear the cobwebs.)

FJ: “Ring expertise stopped Baird dead in his tracks.”

HS: “Frank, you have to hand it to Baird he is giving Low a hell of a match.”

(Low staggers as he stands and he immediately goes for the turnbuckle that Baird is straddling, Low fires off series of rights to theforehead, and then Baird loops his leg over the ropes, and then his other, as Low now climbs upwards with the Superstar. Baird fires back with two lefts, and Low is reeling on the turnbuckle. Baird then shoves Low down off the turnbuckle. Low hits on the mat, however jumps right back onto the turnbuckle. He fires a few shots to Baird’s gut. Low locks in a suplex position and then both men come crashing down in the centre of the ring.)

HS: “MY GOD!!!”

FJ: “Herb both men are down… this one could go either way.”

HS: “A devastating move by Low but he took a lot out of himself as well.”

(The ref utilizes the ten count. He begins to count and gets to four still no one moves however, finally at eight Low begins to stir, followed very shortly by Baird who begins to climb to his knee. Low however beats him to it, and proceeds towards Baird, he delivers stiff right hand, followed by a snap mare and a hard kick to the spine of Baird. Low then lays Baird down and drops a knee into his skull. Low mounts Baird and begins to deliver closed fist punches right into Baird’s face. Baird tries to cover up, however Low begins to stomp away at him now, and then drops back down on top of him pounding away unmercifully.)

HS: “Wow look at the look on Low’s face!”

FJ: “He looks like he had enough of the nice guy routine.”

HS: “Its time for Baird to find out what made Low the man to beat around here”

(Low lifts up Baird, and then chops away at Baird’s chest backing him into the corner. Low whips Baird from corner to corner. Baird hits hard and staggers outwards, Low then locks in a belly to belly suplex, driving Baird into the ground. Low then takes his chances on the top rope. He climbs up and sets himself, and takes flight. Low then comes crashing down with a leg drop from the top, however Baird is able to roll out of the way. Baird slowly gets up as Low grabs his back from the impact. Baird picks Low up and delivers a cradle piledriver, planting Low square on his head. Baird then goes for a pin. 1……..2……….1/2… Low barely gets his left shoulder off the canvas before the three count. Baird then lifts him up again. He tries to execute a snap suplex, however slips behind him and attempts the Low Standard. However Baird is able to drop to the ground, and scurry into the ropes.)

HS: “Woah…Great decision by Baird.”

FJ: “Low was looking to lock in the Low Standard, and no one escapes that!”

(Low takes a knee, and both men lock eyes.. Simultaneously they stand up and proceed towards the centre of the ring. Continuing with the stare down. Baird throws a punch, that lands and then Low throws his own punch that lands. Both men stand in the centre of the ring throwing lefts and rights, the fans are going crazy as both men give it their all. Baird then backs up and bounces off the ropes, he nails Low with a stiff right, that staggers Low backwards. Baird then hits the ropes again, this time he comes off towards Low and gets nailed with a Yakuza kick. Baird’s feet continue going forward however he hits hard on the back of his head. Low now grabs his legs and locks in a sharpshooter, getting Baird turned over. )

HS: “THE LOW PROFILE!!!!”

FJ: “This is over with…Low retains”

(Baird struggles within the Low Profile fighting for his life. He raises his hand as if to tap out however, he decides not too. Low leans back heavily, but Baird refuses to tap out. Instead he lifts himself up and drags himself to the ropes. Low is forced to break the hold, Baird drags himself up just in time to see Low charges forward with an apparent attempt at a spear, however Baird leap frogs him. Low turns around and gets hoisted up onto Baird’s shoulders.)

HS: “STAR STRUCK….STAR STRUCK IS COMING!!!! WE WILL HAVE A NEW CHAMP….”

(Baird proceeds to execute the move however Low grabs hold of Baird’s head and manipulates himself, falling down driving Baird’s jaw into his shoulder….)

FJ: “The Low Stunner!!!”

(Low quickly hooks both legs and the ref counts the three.)

HS: “He did it… He retained his title in a hell of a battle here tonight.”

(The cameras fade to black as Low walks up the entrance ramp holding the title high in the air as it goes to the AWA logo.)
