AWA SUNDAY NIGHT SHOCK, February 6, 2005, Dallas, TX, Reunion Arena

(We come into the arena as the pyros are blasting loudly and the fans are cheering insanely and signs of all our favorite and loved and hated wrestlers are scene like “Get Well Soon Fish” “And Low is just a Snake” as well as one that reads “Drake is back!” and we go to the announcers table.)

HS: Hello everybody and welcome to Sunday Night Shock live from Dallas, Texas in the Reunion Arena.

FJ: What a night of action we have got tonight, top to bottom this is one great card.

HS: That’s right and in the end it will be Low and Snake for the title.

FJ: I’ve been waiting for it all week.

HS: But to kick things off hot and fast we have the amazing skills of our AWA’s Cruiserweights in hot paced action guranteed!

('Family Ties' by Cam'Ron, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, and JR Writer blares over the PA and Paul Parker walks out slowly, with Paige following, to a modest amount of booing. He mocks what Jeff Christianson does when he walks down the entrance ramp to draw a little more heat from the crowd. Paige gets up on the apron, and he helps her in the ring. Then he jumps over the top rope. He goes to each side of the ring, with a different pose.)

HS: "Hey, who does this guy think he is? Dark Warrior?"

FJ: "I never thought I'd say this about a cruiserweight, but I could grow to like this kid."

(The lights in the arena go dark. 'Chapter Four' by Avenged Sevenfold starts playing, as projectors scan the crowd. They spot Jeff coming out of the crowd walking down the stairs of the Floor level signing autographs. He climbs over the barricade and enters the ring. Silver pyros goes off on the four sides of the ring. He starts stretching on the ring.)

HS: “What an opening match we’re about to see here. Two of the newest faces in the AWA are about to get the action started here in the Reunion Arena tonight!”

FJ: “Yeah, yeah. Two midgets are going to get it on. Wake me up when they’re done…”

HS: “Regardless of what Frank thinks, this is bound to be a great match.”

(The bell rings, and both men immediately charge. They meet in mid-air with a double dropkick, sending them both to the canvas. XTJ jumps right back to his feet, with Parker following a split second later. Both wrestlers exchange series of punches and jabs at the center of the ring until Parker puts an end to it with an enziguri, sending XTJ to the mat. Parker springboards of the ropes into a moonsault, but XTJ rolls away just in time to avoid it. XTJ is quick getting to his feet, and kneedrops Parker’s back. He pulls Parker up, kicks him in the gut three times in rapid succession, and then whips him into the turnbuckle. XTJ tries to hit his opponent with a running clothesline, but Parker takes him down with an armdrag, and follows it through into a side armbar.)

HS: “Furious action from both stars early in the match. Xtreme Jeff had some good offense there, but so did Parker. Right now, it seems like Paige’s protégé has the upper hand.”

FJ: “Yes, isn’t she lovely?”

HS: “Huh? What are you talking about?”

FJ: “I’m talking about the reason this match isn’t a complete dud; Paige! She’s absolutely gorgeous tonight.”

HS: “Well, I can’t disagree to that, Frank. But look at the action in the ring! It has everything you’d expect from a cruiserweight match! We’re seeing a show of great agility and technical ability from both wrestlers here. Right now, Jeff seems to be in trouble. He needs to get out of this armbar before Parker does some serious damage to his elbow or shoulder.”

(XTJ grimaces in pain and tries to break the hold, but Parker only applies more pressure. The referee is asking XTJ if the wants to submit, but only gets headshakes as his answer. XTJ finally reaches the ropes, and the ref tells Parker to let go, but he holds on.)

HS: “Hey! He reached the ropes, Parker will have to let go now!”

FJ: “Yes. Let go, or that stupid referee will disqualify you!”

(The ref starts a five count, but only reaches four until Parker lets go of the arm with a big smile on his face. XTJ is focusing on his hurting elbow, and is caught in a waistlock from Parker, who takes him down with a German suplex for the pin. One… Two… Kickout! Parker springs to his feet, and pulls XTJ up by his hair, and hits him with a European uppercut, causing Jeff to stagger backwards. Parker goes for a swinging neckbreaker, but XTJ blocks it with a backslide attempt. Parker doesn’t budge though, and they are struggling, arms locked.)

FJ: “Oh, what tremendous strength these midgets show... None of them can perform a backslide my grandmother would pull off handcuffed.”

HS: “Please, Frank. We don’t need to hear what goes on at your family gatherings.”

(XTJ eventually breaks the status quo by running up the ropes and flipping over Parker’s back. Parker is then sent to the mat with a DDT. XTJ uses the momentum to climb the top turnbuckle, facing the crowd with both fists raised in the air. He is met with a roar of approval from the audience. Parker slowly gets to his feet, looking rather confused. XTJ takes a quick peek over his shoulder, and goes airborne with a corkscrew crossbody that connects perfectly.)

HS: “This is it! One… Two… Thr - NO! Parker got his shoulder up just in time! I can’t believe he pulled that off. Must have been pure instinct.”

FJ: “Come on Pete! Now is your chance, the other midget isn’t moving either!”

HS: ”PETE!? Who the heck is Pete? I don’t see Spiderman around, do you Frank?

FJ: “His name is Parker for crying out loud! How the hell am I supposed to know his first name isn’t Parker!? Why would the Parkers NOT name their son Peter?”

HS: “Ummm, I can think of a number of reasons, but obviously there is not much use in trying to get them across to you, Frank.”

(In the ring, both wrestlers look incapable of hitting any offense right now, and the ref starts counting. ONE. TWO. THREE. XTJ stirs a little, and very slowly gets to his hands and knees. FOUR. FIVE. XTJ gets to his feet, rubbing his head looking at Parker, who is out cold. He slowly climbs the turnbuckle, and then goes for a flying leg drop. At the last second, Parker rolls away and jumps to his feet.)

HS: “Parker was playing possum! He wasn’t even close to being as hurt as he posed.”

FJ: “Excellent ring smarts by the rookie! And look how much pain Xtreme Jeff is in. I LOVE IT!”

(XTJ is laying stomach down, holding his leg. Parker puts on his best Jeff Christianson impression, and catches XTJ in a grapevine anklelock. The hold is broken by XTJ though, as he manages to kick Parker in the head. Both guys get to their feet, XTJ by pulling himself up by the ropes. Just as he reaches his feet, Parker connects with a Spear, sending both men through the ropes to the arena floor.)

HS: “Holy crap! Parker’s spear sent them both out of the ring!”

FJ: “Now this match could get interesting.”

(Parker gets to his feet first, and catches XTJ in a belly-to-belly into the guardrail. SMACK! Jeff’s back hits the rail with a sickening sound. Parker climbs the apron, and dives off it with a flying headbutt to XTJ’s chest. The referee has been counting both men out since they left the ring, and has now reached ‘Three’. Parker walks away from XTJ, who is barely moving on the arena floor. FOUR.)

HS: “What’s this? Where is Parker going?”

FJ: “I have a pretty good idea of what he is doing. It begins with steel, and ends with… umm… chair….”

(Frank is right, Parker gets a steel chair, and walks back to XTJ. FIVE. He raises the chair above his head, and hits XTJ in the back with it. He tries to do it again, but XTJ rolls away! SIX. XTJ gets up quick as lightning, springboards of the apron and connects with a flying dropkick, driving the steel chair into Parker’s face. XTJ lands flat on his back, and both men are slow getting up. SEVEN. EIGHT. Parker summons the strength he has left and gets back in the ring. NINE. XTJ pulls himself up and back into the ring just as the ref is about to count him out.)

HS: “Close call there. A millisecond later, and Xtreme Jeff would have lost this match!”

FJ: “Oh gee, how lucky we are that it didn’t end there. I’m really looking forward to the rest of this bout. NOT!”

(Parker pulls XTJ up and sets him up for a powerbomb. He lifts him up, and is about to slam him to the ground when XTJ counters with a hurricanrana, driving Parker’s head into the mat. Jeff looks dazed and confused as he gets back on his feet. He sways a little, but regains his balance. Parker is out cold on the canvas.)

FJ: “This doesn’t look good for Parker, he has to get out of the way…”

HS: “Shooting Star Press by Xtreme Jeff!”

FJ: “BAM! This one is over!”

(The referee drops to the mat and slams his hand down ONE time… TWO times… THR – just as he is about to call the match off, he notices Parker’s foot on the rope. What he didn’t notice was Paige putting it there when he started counting the pin. XTJ pounds the mat with both fists in frustration.)

HS: “Oh, he almost had the match won there. If it hadn’t been for Paige’s interference, Parker never would have pulled that off!”

FJ: “That’s what managers are for, Herb. To give you that edge when you need it the most.”

(XTJ is up trying to convince the ref that Paige put Parker’s foot on the ropes, but the man in the striped shirt won’t listen. Instead, he starts giving XTJ a five count. Jeff immediately backs off and turns his attention to Parker, who is barely moving. The youngest wrestler in the AWA pulls Parker up and shoves him to the corner. XTJ sets his opponent up on the turnbuckle, and brings him down with an X-Factor from the top rope! XTJ gets to his feet; anxious not to lose the advantage the move gave him. He springboards off the bottom rope with a lionsault.)

HS: “The Xtremist! Xtreme Jeff is going to put an end to it right here!”

FJ: “NO! Parker got his foot up! Big boot to XTJ’s head!”

HS: “OH NO! Xtreme Jeff had all the momentum built up in that lionsault fed right back to his head!”

(XTJ is out cold before he even hits the canvas, face first. Parker rolls him over and then heads for the corner, and slowly climbs the ropes. He stands on the top rope for a few seconds, and then leaps forward in a somersault.)

FJ & HS: “450 SPLASH!”

(Parker connects beautifully on the prone XTJ. He hooks the leg for the ONE… TWO… THREE.)

HS: “Paul Parker wins his first match in the AWA! And what a match it was!”

FJ: “It was ok, for being a cruiserweight match. I didn’t get much sleep at all.”

HS: “Sleep!? Are you kidding me Frank? It was fast paced action from start to finish. Just like the cruiserweights of the AWA always do, these two youngsters gave it all they had!”

(“Family Ties” plays over the arena sound system, and Parker celebrates in the ring with Paige, to a chorus of boos from the crowd. As we fade to the back and see Atlas and Appollo in Louises office who is trying to force them out.) Louise: The both of you can leave now!

( As both of them head for the door and leave, but just before the door closes Louise likes right at the two men.) Louise: 'You know what, fine, if you want to be a tag team and have a tag match, that's fine! Since your last match was so... controversial... you two will have the pleasure of meeting with NHL again. Him and his tag partner... SNAKE! Now good day!'

( We hear her mutter about how both men interrupted her break and the two of them look stunned and then fill with excitement. As we fade to a commercial break for The Greatest Cruiserweight Matches of all time and come back just as How We Do“ by The Game and 50 Cent begins to play and golden showers of fireworks go off on top of the ramp. The crowd boos as Thunder, with a huge smile on his face, makes his way down the ramp. He slides into the ring and jumps and down in anticipation.)

HS: “The King Of TV“ is back and tonight he faces “The Epitome Of Fitness“.

FJ: “You say that like it's a bad thing. It's not a bad thing... it's a good thing!“

HS: “What the hell are you talking about?“

(“Big Poppa“ by Notorious B.I.G. Begins to play and the boos become even louder as Poppa and Tiffany step out from the back. As the fireworks go off, Poppa and Tiffany head down the ramp. Poppa jumps onto the ring apron and steps into the ring, followed by Tiffany, who bends over seductively as she enters the ring.)

FJ: “Wooohooo! I love Tiffany bending over!“

HS: “Well, so does everybody else who has seen it, and that means something!“

(Tiffany leaves the ring as the referee signals for the bell. The two men walk into the center of the ring and then look at each other face to face.)

HS: “Both men are of similar size. Poppa is 6'4“ and 290 pounds, while Thunder is taller at 6'6“ and weighs in at 265 pounds.“

(Poppa and Thunder trash talk each other, but Thunder officially starts the match by throwing a punch. He connects to Poppa's face, but Poppa throws a punch of his own and the two exchange right fists. Thunder, though, gets the upper hand by raking Poppa's eyes and then sending him into the ropes with an Irish whip. As Poppa bounces off the ropes, Thunder catches him, picks him up and sends him down with a spinebuster. Thunder then picks Poppa up and places his throat across the top rope. He then pushes forward and chokes Poppa on the top rope.)

HS: “Thunder certainly knows how to bend the rules in his favor.“

FJ: “Well, he stopped just as the referee reached the four, so it's all legal.“

(Thunder pulls the rope back with full force, thus slingshotting Poppa into the middle of the ring. Thunder follows with a kneedrop to Poppa's sternum and then starts discussing with the referee. As he does that, he keeps his shin on Poppa's throat and chokes him. The referee only notices it after Tiffany yells at him. Thunder is upset with Tiffany and walks over to the ropes to yell at her. As he turns around, Poppa awaits him with a closed fist right to the jaw. Thunder is stunned and Poppa uses the opportunity to lunge forward and nail Thunder with a clothesline, but Thunder only staggers back a few steps.)

HS: “Good display of Thunder's balance.“

(Poppa Irish whips Thunder and then hits him with a hip toss. Thunder is immediately back up on his feet, but Poppa picks him up and connects with an inverted atomic drop. While Thunder holds his crotch, Poppa goes into the ropes and hits a running clothesline, but again, Thunder only staggers a few steps backwards. Poppa goes into the ropes again and this time he hits a spear, sending Thunder down to the mat. Poppa covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a kick out.)

FJ: “Poppa may be a little shorter than Thunder, but he has a lot of power behind those moves.“

(Poppa pulls Thunder up to his feet, picks him and hoists him onto his shoulders. He starts running and then hits a running power slam. Poppa covers again and gets 1..... 2..... and another kick out.)

HS: “This kick out already looked a little weaker, so Poppa's offense seems to be taking it's toll.“

(Poppa pulls Thunder up yet again and then applies a bear hug. Thunder tries to fight his way out of the hold, but Poppa applies it tightly. Thunder pounds away at Poppa's head with right fists, but Poppa doesn't release the hold.)

FJ: “Poppa is like a pit bull who just refuses to release his victim.“

HS: “And Thunder's try at a defense is getting weaker by the second.“

(Suddenly, Poppa attempts to lift Thunder up and hit a belly-to-belly suplex, but Thunder seemed to anticipate this and is able to shift his weight so that Poppa cannot lift him up. Instead, he finally gets his arms between his body and Poppa's arms, breaks free, sneaks up behind Poppa, applies a full nelson, lifts Poppa up and hits a full nelson slam. He covers immediately and gets 1..... 2..... and a kick out.)

FJ: “Thunder almost surprised Poppa here for the victory!“

HS: “What is Tiffany doing there?“

(Tiffany has climbed up on the ring apron and is talking to Thunder, seemingly just wrapping him up in a conversation. Poppa uses the opportunity to sneak up from behind, wrap his arms around Thunder's waist and hit a German suplex. He then goes into the ropes, jumps up and hits a high elbow drop. He then pulls Thunder up, picks him up and lifts him high over his head!)

FJ: “Look at this strength!“

HS: “Impressive gorilla press by Poppa!“

FJ: “Look out!“

(Poppa then slams Thunder to the mat with a loud thud. Poppa briefly flexes his muscles as Tiffany applauds and the crowd boos. He arrogantly waits for Thunder to get back to his feet, then kicks him into the stomach, lifts him onto his shoulders and hits the Big-Up! Poppa covers and gets 1..... 2..... 3! Poppa wins.)

FJ: “Woah, that ended quickly.“

HS: “Impressive display of strength here tonight from Poppa.“

(“Big Poppa“ begins to play again as Tiffany joins Poppa in the ring. The two celebrate and pose for the crowd, who is responding with even more boos. As we fade to commercial for The Hell on Earth DVD and come back to the arena at Herb and Frank.)

HS: “Ladies and Gentlemen, Jack Happy and his unusual mindset are up next against BlackJack coming off a huge victory over Low”

(Booker T and the MG's-"Green Onions hits and Blackjack appears on the ramp way and as the guitar chimes in Pyros shoot up from each side of the ramp all the way down, at every chime of the guitar as he makes his way down. He climbs into the ring going to the middle and raises his arms out and up then tosses off his Leather Jacket.)

HS: “There he is Frank, a rising star and his work is cut out for him facing yet another AWA Legend tonight.”

(A baffled audience is completely quiet for one moment, likely in shock, or possibly more, as unbelievably we hear “T.N.T” by AC/DC ring throughout the arena. Amidst the sea of shocked expressions, a roar of anticipation and disbelief becomes apparent.)

HS: &

FJ: “No WAY!! It can’t be!”

(Pyro shouts the ramp way, and haze clouds the entrance, as the crowd is in a literal frenzy in anticipation of Drake Hyde. The chants are echoing throughout the arena, and the arena’s roof seems ready to blow right off.)

FJ: “There he is… It’s him…ITS DRAKE HYDE!!!”

(From the back emerges the man himself wearing a black t-shirt that can’t quite cover his blubber, and a pair of black jeans with silver knees, that are at least five sizes too small. He salutes the crowd whom die down in a confused state.)

HS: “That’s Jack Happy…Frank.. “

FJ: “What are you talking about, Drake has never looked so good, but what happened to Jack Happy? I thought he was facing Black Jack tonight”

HS: “He is Frank, THAT IS JACK HAPPY!”

FJ: “Are you blind Herb, that is Drake Hyde right there.”

(Jack goes to the ring as his entourage follows him, shaking their heads…Lustful Laura heads up the back and the infamous Sauvio Mega is sandwiched in the middle. As they finally reach the ring, Jack rolls under the bottom rope and we finally get things underway.)

HS: “Well this should be interesting.”

(The bell rings and the two square off. Happy moves forward and enters the collar and elbow tie up with BJ, who is pushed into the corner. Happy breaks cleanly, and now BJ enters it again, this time getting pushed to the other corner in which Happy breaks cleanly.)

HS: “A definite size and strength advantage in this match up.”

FJ: “Drake has certainly hit the buffet during his AWA leave. ”

(This time they meet in the center of the ring again as BJ charges Happy tries a clothesline but it gets ducked and BJ delivers a drop kick that puts Happy down. BJ immediately takes advantage hooking a reverse chin lock in on Happy. Happy then begins to sit up , and forces BJ to release the hold with a series of elbows, Happy then hits the ropes and rebounds with a shoulder block, BJ goes down hard, and then Happy hits the other ropes and BJ gets up quickly using Jack’s own momentum delivers an arm drag that sends the BIG MAN rolling across the mat, and into the ropes. Black Jack gets up and catches his breath. Jack then gets up himself with the assistance of the ropes. Black Jack stays on the offensive as he moves forward and delivers a set of stiff jabs reminiscing of a boxer, as he ducks and dives left and right, and continues to put Happy in trouble before landing a hard right that sends Jack stumbling in to the corner. BJ then backs up to the other end of the ring and runs head long attempting a flying splash into the corner, however Jack counters by bringing his boot up.)

HS: “Who knew Jack could get that leg so far up.”

FJ: “Please Herb… Drake is as pure an athlete as anyone.”

( BlackJack staggers backwards as Happy comes out of the corner with his hands-a-slappin’. After five or six full contact slaps we see an odd looking uppercut slap put BJ down on the canvas.)

FJ: “Drake stole a move from his good buddy Jack Happy there Herb.”

HS: “Would you stop.”

FJ: “I thought everyone loved Drake, what is your problem with him.”

(Jack then picks up BJ executing a Samoan drop, and following it up with a 320 lbs. elbow drop that drives the wind out of BJ. Jack covers. 1…………2………kickout! Jack then lifts BJ again this time whipping him into the corner. Happy gets up a head of steam and slams into BJ at full tilt. This causes BJ to immediately slump in the corner while still on his feet. Happy then salutes the crowd whom are loving every second of this odd arrangement. Happy then goes back to work stomping on BJ’s toes while he is in the corner, which causes BJ to scream in pain and grab his left foot. Happy then grabs his head and delivers a DDT, that causes BJ to flip out into the middle of the ring from impact. Jack goes for another cover. 1…….2…..kickout!)

HS: “BlackJack is showing a lot of resiliency here tonight.”

FJ: “Drake has the killer instinct though, and with all this weight he has put on, he is dangerous.”

(Happy gets up now and he looks to the fans as the y cheer. He points to the ropes, and then hits them, and begins his awkward roll, followed by his even more awkward somersault, known as Rolling Blubber, however BJ gets his knees up and Jack snaps over backwards from the impact. BJ slowly gets to his feet, and leans into the ropes to catch his breath after Jack’s onslaught. Jack however gets up rather quickly, and places his hands on his knees. Jack flies forward attempting the clown kick but BJ counters again this time with a dragon screw leg whip. Happy hits hard, and BJ immediately tries to capitalize, by delivering a running elbow drop. He then lifts Happy up and delivers a swinging neckbreaker. BJ seems energized as he hits the ropes delivering a spring board moonsault on Happy.)

HS: BlackJack quickly turned the tides here tonight.”

FJ: “Drake must still have a little ring rust.”

HS: “THAT’S JACK HAPPY DAMN IT!”

FJ: “You know Herb, I could give you my shrink’s number. .if you would like”

(BJ signals that it is time to end this one, as he sets up behind Happy for The Ace of Spades however when Happy gets up and turns he catches BJ just in time and nails a belly-to –belly suplex narrowly avoiding the Ace of Spades. Happy then looks to his fans, some of them chanting for Happy, some of them chanting for Black Jack and all of them chanting for an elxcellent match. Happy then proceeds towards the ropes. With BlackJack laid out in the centre of the ring. Happy begins to climb. He reaches the second rope.)

HS: “Happy seems to be laboring”

FJ: “Well looking after Lori and his child would certainly be tough Herb. Speaking of laboring look at the sweat coming off Drake’s body.”

HS: ----Shakes his head in disgust---

(Happy finally reaches the top rope and then looks down towards BlackJack before signaling that he going for…The Shooting Star Legdrop)

HS: “OH NO!! He really thinks he is Drake..”

FJ: “Vintage Drake Hyde coming up here folks…The Shooting Star Legdrop.. few in the business can execute this better than Drake can, and you’re all about to see it.”

(Jack, under the assumption that he is actually Drake Hyde takes the leap of faith, attempting the shooting star legdrop, however he ends up performing an gawky looking flop on to his back that forces his to come up short of BlackJack, whom springs up to his feet, and runs immediately towards the same ropes. He perches himself on the top turnbuckle, before gracefully taking flight driving his patented elbow drop right into the heart of Happy. He covers. 1……….2………………3!!!!!!!!!!)

HS: “BlackJack with another victory,. Over another legend…This kid is HOT!”

FJ: “The failed return of Drake Hyde…But don’t worry Drake, you can always be in those movies”

( We fade to commercial for Subway and our most recent Sponsors of Hell on Earth, GTA as we come back to the announcers table.)

HS: Ladies and gentlemen this is it, the Main Event and a match that has been building for quite a couple weeks now.

FJ: I don’t know who to root for in this one, I like both there styles. There both vicious, dominant and my kind of guys.

HS: Well that’s there personalities, but I have to be biased, and in this, they both as wrestlers have quite the impressive skills in there own right. Yet different styles to face each other, it should be interesting to witness.

FJ: This will be Low’s first title defense since winning it at Hell On Earth just a couple weeks ago.

HS: And how what a match that was, a candidate already for Match of The Year I am sure.

FJ: And The Beast himself and challenger is coming out now, Snake!

( The soft intro of "Digging up the corpses" hits the PA system and when the lead singer screams "Tell me another story" A massive fall of fire erupts from the stage and the six foot six monster walked through the curtain flanked by his sister Maria "Violent Harmony" Inganno dressed in the most beautiful black silk dress. Deep within the black mask those eyes once so bright green now look black and hate filled stare up at the ring. Jumping to the apron he places a leg over the ropes then another and makes his way to his corner and is looks to the entrance ramp very focused.)

HS: Look at how Snake is acting, he isn’t letting anything but Low and that title be the center of his attention.

FJ: He’s determined here Herb.

HS: And here comes The Champ himself, The Legendary Low!

( “Tilt” by Scott Walker hits and as the beat goes the lights flicker and Low makes his way on stage, he stops and looks at his belt and then stares right in the eyes of Snake, making his way straight down the ramp ignoring everything around him but the challenger as he climbs through the ropes and looks right at Snake coldly and smiles as he holds the belt high in the air in front of him with both hands and then hand sit to the referee. He takes it and displays it for all to see and both men come to the center of the ring.)

HS: Oh this is intense already, the stares, the tension, its all ending right here and now!

(The bell sounds and both men step back as they circle each other and Low strikes first shooting for a single leg but Snake takes his leg back and they circle each other again. Snake charges for a grapple but Low side steps him and they both stare at each other again.)

HS: They both are trying to go for there respective styles.

FJ: These two have a lot to settle from this week.

HS: And now they start!

(Snake struck with a grapple attack but Low sidestepped it but hit Snake square in the jaw with a right hand and then locks a back grapple in going for something but Snake elbows him in the face and turns around and then punches Low in the face himself.)

HS: Hard hits already by the both of them.

( Low strikes back with a right and then another right then a chop and a headlock wrenching it in . Snake grabs his side and tries to lift him up but Low pushes his wait down and lands back on his feet, wrenching it in harder as he hit’s a punch to the face and then takes it over into a headlock takedown on the mat.Really pulling it in as Snake goes for the hair but the ref calls him on it and Low hit’s a fist to the head and then a tighter lock.)

HS: Low being the smart champion and dictating the pace of this match, and keeping it where he knows it, ground based.

FJ: Yea but you cant ignore the raw power of Snake.

HS: Your right Frank, but right now its all about what Low can do when he is straight up wrestling someone.

( Low turns it around and into a front face lock as Snake starts to get up but Low quickly hits multiple cross faces on him that looks much like uppercuts and then rides around on the back and into a hammerlock pushing down on it and going for the Low Standard.)

HS: He’s going for it already!

FJ: If he locks it in its over!

( Snake quickly heads butt back into low and rolls to the outside and shakes it off but Low is already quick to his feet and runs hitting a baseball slide on Snake as he turns around. Low is on his feet and Snake gets knocked back as Low grabs Snake by the head bringing him back to the ring but Snake elbows him in the stomach and then throws him into the barricade face first and hit’s a huge European uppercut against the barricade.)

HS: Low now getting the pace changed on him, as Snake shows his power and brutality.

FJ: That’s what he is good and made a career at.

( Snake whips Low across the aisle to the other barricade and then hit’s a huge knee to the gut and picks him up dropping him chest first on it as Low clutches his chest and Snake clotheslines him down to the outside floor. The ref is still counting the outside as he is at 7 now and Snake slides halfway in and back out restarting the count and the ref yells at him.)

HS: Snake smart move there you can’t win the belt by count-out.

FJ: But Low got to his feet.

(Snake is met by a big right hand and then a huge chop that backs Snake against the apron and then another chop but then Snake hit’s a huge right and then he grabs Lows hair and hit’s a head butt as he sends him by the head into the ring steps as they crash and fall apart.)

HS: By the hair he was whipped into those stairs.

FJ: Sounded horrible, Low is in a bad way after that.

( Snake picks up Low and whips him back into the ring and quickly follows on the attack as he stomps the back of his head. He drops a knee and then kicks the rib of Low as he picks him up and whips him into the corner and follows by charging him with a huge clothesline, and then hip-tossing him up and out of the corner. Low is slower to his feet as he is met by being brought up off the mat in a huge side slam and crashing back down, Snake hooks the leg and goes for the cover.)

HS: First cover of the match, by Snake.

FJ: ONE..TWO…Kick out!

HS: Early on here in the bout for that, Low kicks out.

( Snake gets up and hit’s the ropes as he comes back going to kick Low straight in the face on his knees but Low grabs his leg and ducks down sending Snake face first to the mat as he goes for a half Boston crab but Snake is quick to crawl toward the ropes only Low is quick to drop an elbow on the back of his head and turns the crab into an STF and wrenches back in the face lock and pushes down pressure on the leg.)

HS: STF.

FJ: Low is showing Snake some submission, you can’t match submission to power, but you can match power with submission.

HS: I am trying to make sense of that, but I see you’re point.

(Snake uses his strength however to crawl to the ropes, inch by inch as he grabs them and the ref starts the count, he gets to 4 and then Low breaks it throwing off the move as he gets up and to his feet. Snake is getting up and Low meets him with feet to the back and then another and then picks him up and hit’s a snap suplex on Snake and is quick to pick him back up and hit a belly to belly suplex as he goes for the cover.)

HS: Cover by the champ!

FJ: Kick out at two.

HS: He’s on the attack though.

( Low picks up Snake and chops him once as the crowd woos and then again even harder as the crowd woos some more, and then again even harder all the way in the corer and then takes his open palm and slaps it down across Snakes chest.)

HS: What an attack of chops that was.

FJ: Sounded brutal, really laying it in there.

HS: But Snake is fighting back.

(Snake hit’s a hard right and then a hard left, fighting out of the corner as he slaps Low across the face Low meets him with another slap across the face then Snake hit’s a body punch and Low hit’s a hard jab to the face. Snake hit’s a hard jab of his own to the face and then Low hit’s a hard body punch, Snake comes up with a European uppercut and Low comes back with a huge forearm to the face and then goes for another belly to belly, but as he spins for it Snake powers down and hit’s a smash on his back and then locks in a bear hug, squeezing hard and fast early.)

HS: What an exchange that was.

FJ: But Snake gets it out with a bear hug on the champ!

( Snake pounds the lower back of Low and then squeezes it in hard again as Low screams trying to fight out ofit. Snake shakes him a little and squeezes it harder as Low still tries to push up and out of it but to no avail he grabs Snake by the mask and tries to tug at it to pull back and deliver a right hand but Snake charges him into the corner and rams the back of Low into the turnbuckle paddings.)

HS: Raw power by Snake there.

FJ: And now it looks like Snake has the advantage here.

HS: I think you may be right on that Frank.

( Snake elbows the side of Lows head and then rams a shoulder into the stomach of Low, then he rams another shoulder, and another, hard into his ribs as he takes him out of the corner and sets him up for a power bomb.)

HS: Big move coming up here.

FJ: This will change the pace of things.

( Snake picks up Low in the power bomb but Low fights it with fists to the head then he rolls over and into a sunset flip and the cover. ONE..TWO..KICKOUT. Snake gets the shoulder up as he rolls back and so does Low both men charge and Snake goes for a clothesline and Low ducks it and hit’s the ropes but on the return Snake catches Low by the neck and spins him around to the mat.)

HS: SNAKE STRIKE!

FJ: He hit it, Snake is the new champion!

(ONE..TWO…KICKOUT!)

HS: The Champion kicked out.

FJ: Lows got more fight in him.

( Snake picks up Low and punches him a few times then gives him a big chop and pushes him up against the ropes as he hit’s a huge knee to the gut and whips him across the ring on the return he hit’s a big boot right square in the face of Low and it sends him down to the mat.)

FJ: “The Champion is in huge trouble right now, and Snake has the killer instinct”

(Snake picks up Low, and delivers a stiff right hand that knocks Low down to one knee. Snake then continues to reign down punches to the top of Low’s head. Low progressively goes down further and further, until eventually Snake lifts him up and sends him to the ropes as Low rebounds Snake charges forward delivering a shoulder block that sends Low down hard again. Snake looks down at Low, and then grabs a hand full of orange hair, he drags Low to his feet again, and sends him to the ropes again, he tunes up to deliver a hellacious clothesline)

HS: “These big high impact shots from Snake have got Low on dream street.”

(As Snake swings forward trying to decapate Low we see Low, duck and grab Snake’s arm, he then applies a crossface, and immediately with Snake realizing what hold Low is going for, he drops to his back on the canvas and scampers away.)

FJ: “What a turn around, it looked like Snake was going to execute Low, and somehow Low turned that into an attempt for The Low Standard.”

HS: “Snake was well aware of that, if Low locks that in, its over with, no one has ever escaped that.”

(Snake climbs to his feet and exchanges a stare down with the groggy Low. Snake takes his time and proceeds back towards Low, Both men face off to each other, and being to circle Snake pounces and catches a knee to the gut, on his way in. Low then whips him to the ropes, delivering a drop toe hold in which he modifies quickly on the ground to hook an STF.)

HS: “This is vintage Low, he gets a slight advantage and capitalizes, now he will wear Snake down, and regain some of his wind”

(Snake struggles in the STF, and Low continues to pour on the pressure, until finally he releases the hold, however he jumps up quickly delivering an elbow drop to the back of Snake’s neck. He then pick Snake up delivering a snap suplex. Low stalks Snake and as he is getting up He grabs a hand full of hair spins him around and delivers a snap mare. Low then drives his foot again into the back of Snake’s neck. Low takes a little breather, before proceeding back towards Snake who is slowly getting up. Low fires a right hand, and Snake fires back with his own, and then another and a another.)

FJ: “Both men are giving it their all”

(Snake locks Low’s arms, and then repeated knees him in the midsection. Before wrapping his arms around him, and delivering a gutwrench suplex. He stagers over to Low and grabs him by the throat on the ground, trying to choke the life out of Low. Low’s feet are kicking and Snake drives all his weight down on Low’s throat. The ref demands that he break the hold, however Snake lifts with all his might forcing Low to his feet, Low looks as if he is almost blue in the face, Snake then reaches down and lifts Low in to the fireman’s carry.)

HS: “Its going to be over here..The Injection is coming!”

FJ: “Wait a second!”

(Low reverses his weight, and hooks Snake’s arms, he then falls backwards, into the crucifix pin combination. The ref drops down 1……………2………………1/2! Snake barely kicks out, but he reaches his feet first, Low turns and leaps to his feet, charging but nearly has his feet taken off with a boot that echoes throughout the arena. Snake now drops down for the pin. 1………….2………….1/2, now Low kicks out)

FJ: “Snake looks to be getting frustrated.”

(Snake is a seemed fit of rage begins to unmercifully pound away on Low. He then lifts him up, and drags him to the corner. He reaches down lifting Low to the top turnbuckle, Snake throws another two straight right hands, and Low’s head rocks backwards. Snake stands atop the second rope, and clinches his hand around Low’s throat again. He looks back and forth out into the crowd.)

HS: “What is he doing?”

FJ: “I think he is going to try and execute the Burning Flames. From the Top rope.”

HS: “This could be Snake’s time ladies and gentlemen I don’t think anyone will kick out of that”

(Snake stares directly into Low’s distant eyes for a second, he then uses all his massive strength to lifts Low, however Low turns and grabs Snake’s arms again, this time as he is spinning around, causing both men to fall downwards from the ropes. Low lands hard on his back and brings Snake down on his head and shoulder, effectively creating a single arm DDT from the top rope, however Low still has Snake’s arm, and uses his last bit of energy to turn around and apply “The Low Standard”)

HS: “What a counter, what a move!!”

FJ: “Unbelievable, that move could have torn every ligament in Snake’s shoulder But more so Low held on and Snake is in the Low Standard.”

(Snake doesn’t even move while in the Low Standard, With each passing second Low sinks it In further and further, The angle of Snake’s back is becoming more and vertical, and his shoulder is twisting out of socket more and more with each of these same passing seconds.)

HS: “I have doubts that Snake is even conscious.

FJ: “Whether he is or isn’t, Low is going to tear his arm off. I haven’t seen this hold so well applied in years.”

(As the ref checks Snake, we see that he isn’t out cold, but almost. After another full minute of being in the Low Standard, we see Snake’s free arm raise up, and tap the ground two times, before both of his arms go limp in unison. Low finally drops the monster Snake out of the Low Standard before falling backwards himself out of exhaustion.)

HS: HE did it again!”

FJ: “An extremely close match up, Snake gave Low everything he could handle tonight, and a lot more then any of us thought he could.”

HS: “Like him or not, Snake is one tough customer, and like Low or not he constantly proves why he is recognized as the greatest AWA champion of all time.”

( We fade on Low standing tall with the World Title high in the air in his hand as he looks around at all the crowd with a grin and I told you so look as the scene fades to black.)
